Naturalization Ceremony
On December 2ed, 63 people from
over 30 countries became United States citizens. The ceremony was presided over
by Hon. Timothy Hogan, United States Magistrate Judge. The St. Susanna school
choir sang patriotic songs to the attendees before the ceremony and 2 of our 8th
grade students were in the Boy Scout Color Guard. Fr. John Tonkin, Parochial
Administrator for St. Susanna Parish, gave the invocation. The judge's
granddaughter, St. Susanna 4th grader Grace Hogan, led everyone in the Pledge of
Allegiance. Our school 8th graders presented each new citizens with an American
flag, and a small gift.
