The St. Susanna Boosters Receives $35,000 Grant for New Gym Floor

The new gym floor in our Parish Center has been made possible by a $35,000 grant from the Roenigk Family Foundation and the St. Susanna Boosters.   Parishioner and Booster’s Coach, Scott Roenigk approached the Boosters Board in late 2004 with this exciting opportunity inviting them to apply for a grant from his family’s foundation.  The Boosters wrote a grant request for capital improvements to install a safer gym floor.  The St. Susanna Boosters received this grant in summer 2005 and voted in favor of proceeding with the installation as soon as possible.  The date that worked best with the installer, Cincinnati Flooring and St. Susanna Parish was October 1-14.  A huge THANK YOU goes out to all who were displaced during this installation process for your patience and understanding.  The new floor is such a wonderful asset to our campus and certainly offers a safer surface for everyone who uses our gym. 

                The gym floor surface is Pulastic by Robbins and is the champion of synthetic surfaces.  Pulastic Floors have superior safety, shock absorption, seamless uniformity, superior durability, and a renewable wear surface that can be professionally refurbished to last the life of the building.
