Spiritual Growth

St. Susanna Parish School provides a Christ centered environment which focuses on the moral development of our students. As a part of our accreditation process in 2006-07, St. Susanna School established the following Catholic identity goal: St. Susanna students will practice their faith by participating in required Christian service projects and/or classroom/schoolwide activities that relate to the Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy.

St. Susanna provides many opportunities and experiences for students to grow in their Catholic faith including:
  • Weekly school Mass
  • Sacramental preparation
  • Daily prayers and Intentions
  • Overall Christian environment
Students at St Susanna also participate in many different Mission Outreach programs:
  • Weekly canned goods collection for those in need in our area
  • Kids CafĂ©
  • Matthew 25 Ministries
  • Tender Mercies (teachers)
  • Advent and Lent service projects
  • Harvest for the Hungry
  • Rosary Club
  • Respect Life Club
  • Service Club
